Fourth Friday

For years, our Fourth Friday meeting has provided a safe, supportive environment for middle school aged boys to gather and have fellowship. The boys play basketball (weather permitting), indoor games like ping-pong, foosball and billiards. Later, a meal is served and then the boys circle up for a presentation. In keeping with our mission, we bring in presenters from nature-based programs in hopes of inspiring children from underserved communities to experience the wonder of the natural world.

We’re grateful to our friends at 8 Legged Scales for bringing a variety of arachnids, lizards and snakes for our Fourth Friday campers to learn about and (for the brave) to handle.
