An unforgettable trek for determined middle school boys from tough streets in Atlanta to the fresh air and spectacular sights of wild nature found in the Chattahoochee National Forest!  Backpacking everything they needed from Wildcat Creek to Deep Gap and on to Dicks Creek Gap, these boys showed remarkable determination on one of the toughest sections of the Appalachian trail.   No electricity, plumbing, heating, or air-conditioning. Just themselves and their homes on their backs!
