Tri-Mountain Spring Break

Wilderness Works campers had an incredible time at the Tri-Mountain Retreat in Ellijay, GA.
Groups of boys from both Crawford Long Middle School and the Genesis Innovation Academy enjoyed the many joyful activities that camp provides.
Wilderness Works believes in creating positive alternatives typical “spring break” activities, and our excursions to Tri-Mountain achieved that goal.
The boys experienced swimming and kayaking on the pond at the camp. Rigorous Hikes on the trails up to sweeping vistas of North Georgia.
The camp leaders took time to allow the boys to slow down and be present in nature and to connect to the land.
Fishing (and catching!) was a first for some of these Atlanta-based boys. Tent camping and campfires were a nightly activity in the cool mountain air.
Meals (and treats) were prepared and served in the outdoor kitchen of the Tri-Mountain Retreat.
Wilderness Works is grateful to Jay Zipperman and others who made this spring break camp experience impactful for our campers.
