Our Wilderness Works Campers left the city limits to experience a rare Fall Break treat at Last Stop Horse Rescue in Gainesville, Georgia. Few children in our programs have seen or touched a real horse. Now they are sitting atop these gentle giants! The amazing volunteers at Last Stop took the time to educate our Core Campers about how to move around these beautiful animals and create a bond.

Wilderness Work remains committed to programs that expose our disadvantaged youths with experiences that expand their horizons beyond the challenging circumstances many of them face.
